1). Wait a day or two.
2). Write a farewell post. It's never official until you write a farewell post. It'll probably be deleted, unless you make it entertaining. But taking a day off, then taking the time to put your thoughts in a post, you may realize how stupid your request is.
3). If you are still interested, here's what you need to do: At the top right of any page you'll see your username. Click your name, and you'll see a link at the bottom of the menu that says, "logout." Click it, and don't return.
Bottom line: I'm not deleting your account. Doing so would delete your posts, which may have replies, and any thread you replied to would make even less sense than most posts already do.
Have a drink, go to bed, and stop acting like a child.
