I'm in those awful club seats : )
Yes awful because not a player on the team hears a cheer from those seats.
Gloat in your financial success but your seat does not make you a better fan.

I just ordered 2 season tickets a couple days ago. Section 130 row 3. I have season tickets for the first 5 years of the Rent. Good to be back.

Uncalled for Woof. I do not care where people sit and cheer for the Huskies.
Nor do most. Just support us. Good for friggin Palatine. My problem is with not getting anything in the mail as yet from tis incompetent Athletic Dept as of tis date regarding season tix. I need to hear from the 'Yard that it is on their site and emails have gone out.
I have not gotten an email and have seaon tix since Friggin memorial stadium. I also get the Courant. No notice there either. How can tix be available already (they are) on line with pathetic notice to the public. alumni, etc? Am I off base?

In all seriousness, are you sure they have your correct email address or its not being filtered as spam by your email provider? I ask b/c I get emails regularly from UConn informing about tickets for hoops, package deals, UConn events before games, etc... I received my season ticket renewal email last week.

setting up shop in 139... considering seatbacks... are they really full of shushers?

"shh, sit down, I can't read my book young man..."

There was an ad for the tx in the front page section on I think Thursday in the Courant. Strange it wasn't in the Sports page.

I haven't gotten an email notification in years. I've confirmed my email address several times w/ the AD and nothing changes. I wish they would just mail them out.

Buying my 6 ( coordinated with another group of 2 ) in section 230 soon. September is going to be one helluva stretch.

+6 Have been in sunny 229 since the Indiana game. Two more than last year. People want to lock in MI.

Thanks D Style. You confirm that this Athletic Dept are doofuses. I went online and ordered. They have my email address on my acct. i never got an email
They should do a better job on this.

What section does the band sit in? I know it's around 115 and 116.

I just renewed my three tickets for section 204. Although we've been disgusted with the ineptness of some of the coaching, like always I drink the kooolaid and believe things will be better this year. I really do have a great feeling about T.J. and strangely I don't have a total lack of faith in GDL as an Oline coach. I do believe we will be much better on offense this year. I am hoping that our graduations on defense don't short circuit the success we had there. One thing in our favor on offense is the return of most of our Olinemen and the availability of the redshirts. I am expecting a return of the running game and an expansion of the passing game. There's nothing I enjoy more than attending these home games and screaming my brains out in support of our guys. Whatever success (or lack thereof) that occurs this season or in the future - these are my guys and I'll be there to cheer them on. Join me there and bring lots of friends!!

Guys.
A quick heads up. As most of you already know, if you're in a 3 year plan it does'nt matter if you renew your seats now or in the spring/summer. I confirmed this with the Athletic Development Office on Monday, so if you're in the same boat as I am with never receiving the emails, don't sweat it. Additionally, just so you know, there has been NO decision made at this time as to what will be done with the left over tickets that have not been sold as season tix. I asked if they will be offered to Uconn Club members prior to them being placed on the open market and they seemed to think that his is the most likely scenerio. If that happens, it will be on a priority points basis. Again, this has not been finalized but I thought that I would pass it along in case some of you have Mich Alum family members as I do, who you look forward to gloating at following a Uconn victory!!!! I prefer them to be in The Rent so I can say "Suck it!!!" to their face, rather than via txt message!

Please -- think about the program. You may want them in the Rent, but it can only be good for the program if UConn Club members buy the tickets up and get them in the hands of people who will actually root for UConn.

GDL and coach Blue ruined this program the last 2 years. He should have been canned yesterday. I do not foresee Blue doung anything innovative next season. At all. That hurts when we have no running game

Need opinions: first row upper deck by the band or first row in the end zone under the jumbo-screen? I know of two people who have first rows in better sections.

Go first row upper deck by the band. Better perspective of the field and won't get a sore neck watching replays

I like being above the field so you can see the plays develop. I am in row 13 and that is as close as I want to get... I like to see what's going on in the play.

Thank you for sharing your perspectives. I do agree that the upper deck seat would be better to watch plays develop. From the end zone, you can also see plays develop from a player's perspective. I was also tempted to talk to the players on the field.
