The minute I got down there I was struggling more than I should have with Spanish. I was worried. Then one of my colleagues looked at me and said "you do know that the spoken language in Brazil is Portuguese, don't you?". Yes, I was embarrassed :mad::eek: to say the least. After that, things went well because the two languages are similar and the Brazilians know Spanish too but sometimes pretend like they don't. [/QUOTE]
