I believe that the not so secret end result is that if he can generate sufficient excitement throughout the fan base to pack the Rent (as it was ~ 5-7 years ago) and demonstrate that we can and will have a football program that would be of some substance in a major conference, there will be a home for us in either the B1G (my preference) or ACC.
