The final per-40-minute and summary stats for the 2015-6 season can be found here.
Few items of interest from the season summary.
1. Beside passing Diana for career assists, Mo made it to 200 for the year again.
2. We have 3 players returning who had 53+ FG%: Gabby (the team leader at 63.6%), Natalie (55.9%), and Napheesa (53.3%) . KLS was also there in the post-season.
3. Natalie lead the team in per-40 OR & RB, at 5.54 and 13.29 respectively. Stewie took DR at 9.03.
4. The 3rd, 4th and 5th highest per-40 scorers are returning: Gabby (18.98), KLS (18.76) and Natalie (18.46)
5. The best (Napheesa 91.7%), third best (Saniya 85.7%) and 5th best (KLS 83.7%) FT shooters are returning.
We'll be looking for better ball handling from the returning guards.
Pretty awesome numbers for the team overall. On the NCAA team ranking page, UConn is 1st in 11 categories, top 5 in 5 categories and top 10 in 4 more (out of 344 schools ranked in 32 categories). That's top 10 in 20/32 categories! Yikes! (You can see the whole list by clicking the yellow "Show Rankings" button on my NCAA stat links page.)
If you have any suggestions for improvements/corrections to the per-40 spreadsheet or the links page, please let me know.
