As UConn coach Dan Hurley prepares to unlock a new offensive system, here are five Husky storylines to watch as summer workouts begin

1. What kind of leap does Andre Jackson take offensively? biggest focus this summer will be improving his finishing around the rim.

2. A team filled with youth. not really...at least not w/ 3 or 4 upperclassmen in the starting lineup.

3. Who is the fifth starter? alleyne most likely then karaban. samson is the "boom or bust option."

4. How much will the new offensive style help? a lot.

5. How will Donovan Clingan perform? biggest weaknesses are his overall endurance and lateral quickness on defense. has been working on his jumper.

Good read, thanks Hooper!

This roster is so intriguing. There are a ton of “if, then” scenarios that keep shifting my expectations for next season. But if the returners make leaps and rotations click, it could be a very exciting group. I wish they could’ve done an overseas trip this summer to build chemistry - still bummed that Covid forced them to cancel the last one. But idk man, feels like the momentum is there…that’s a good look on the staff after a disappointing tourney exit and a somewhat tumultuous start to the offseason.

7’3” with decent athleticism hides a lot of defects in college. He will be a lot better than people think .
Jackson at the four is a ?
Adding three transfers from 3 different cultures is not as easy as it may seem.

Mat Johnson is now in charge of Video and Scouting (Tripp)
Mamadou Diarra is the Director of Player Development (Taliek)
Paul Wettemann’s title is now Director of Basketball Administration
Matt Trudeau is the new guy (was the DBO at CCSU)
