Pitbull paid $6 mill for naming rights.

Surely there's an opening for Legion of Jerry Gridiron at Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field.

Think John Mayer has any interest in having a stadium named after him?

I’m confused … You didn’t know about Robert Burton and the Burton Family Football Complex or something else?

His son Mike is on the Executive Board of Bleeding Blue for Good.
I knew about Robert and his request for a $3 million refund when UConn hired PP as coach. I didn't know the company he ran went bankrupt.

Eversource
Let's get some CT based companies to build a new stadium. Lot's of chatter about the increase in electric bills starting in July due to the Public Benefits charge on our bills. Also about the CEO's salary and bonuses. Part of the Public Benefits charge goes to cover non-payment by customers during covid. Eversource is a publicly traded company and it is now charging paying customers to cover its earlier losses. I'm not here to debate that tactic but that's a pretty sweet deal for Eversource. Eversource takes in $12 billion in revenue. I think Eversource owes us something here.

In 2035 when FIU is in a P3 conference and UConn is still an independent in FB we can look back at this and realize it was an opportunity lost.

(I kid mostly. Or so I hope).

In 2035, their campus might be underwater.

this is hilarious.

Keith Richards would be a good one too - just be careful on the contract longevity, as he will outlive Mayer, if not us all.
