The Maryland D is stacked and waiting. The most predictable play in the football universe, the infamous UConn inside handoff on 1st and 10, is blown up 2 yards behind the LOS by 4 nearly simultaneous tacklers. The Twerps fans let out their first roar of the day.

A pass. It will be incomplete and then UConn will lose confidence in the aerial game and resort to Turtle Ball (not Maryland Turtles but slow motion ground game). If Maryland is as inept offensively, people will be leaving at halftime bored and ready to retreat to the library for something more exciting. This game is a showdown between some of the least creative coaches on the offensive side of the ball. Defensive coordinators at both schools ought to spend the week in Atlantic City.

More seriously, knowing that UConn's players will probably come out somewhat overpsyched, wanting to make a point to their former coach, and how conservative FHCRE normally is, I would be ready for trickery on MD's first play from scrimmage. Something like the flea flicker that Endres overthrow Difton on on the first play at WV in '09 the week after Jazz's death.
