I think we knew the date, but Rich cites the official announcement:

Who will be there?

2012 commits Tuck, Jefferson, and probably Stewart. 2012 recruit McDaniel.

2013 recruit DeShields is very likely. Possibly 2013 recruits Reimer, Mavunga, and Samuelson. Others?

Any 2014 recruits? I'm thinking Sierra Calhoun, whose brother is a UConn commit. Others?

Any kids from Connecticut? Any surprises? Any kids from another continent? Any kids from another planet? I'm thinking at least 1 from these categories. :)
 
there was a Martian i was keeping my eye on and i think she will be there. shouldn't be too hard to pick her out - green skin and all... !!!

Diamond Deshields is going to be at UNC that weekend.......
 
I wouldn't be surprised if Deshields chooses to experience the beginning of practice at another school. She already attended UConn's First Night last year and it makes sense she'd want to experience it at another school this year.

I'd prefer to see her come up to UConn for a big home game this season.
 
BTW: Carl Adamec in the Wednesday JI says that Breanna had planned to be at the First
Night festivities but now won't make it due to her Pan Am duties. I wonder
when her official visit will happen? Maybe for one of the early November exhibition games?

has she never had her official visit to UCONN? i know she's been to campus several times, but none were official, eh? i wonder if Morgan or Moriah will make it up for first night...
 
I don't believe you are even allowed to take an official visit before the start of your senior year...
not sure about that.
 
Fuller reports that Morgan Tuck will be at First Night.
 
To summarize:

Yes: Xylina and Morgan

No: Breanna and Moriah. Also Karlie Samuelson.

Unlikely: Diamond

Unknown: Taya Reimer and Stephanie Mavunga.
