It's obvious that our coach and recruiting staff is in a full court press for talent, for those who don't think they try hard enough. I know success is a different story but we know the effort is there.

So judging by your report, I'm guessing our top targets for 2016 at each position looks something like this:

PG: Gilbert (Gibbs)
SG: Brown (n/a)
SF: King (Kegler, Jackson)
PF: Jones (Davis)
C: Bradley

Am I reading too much into how they allocated resources to the recruiting process here?

We never question the effort with the team or staff. It is the result we are looking for.

Yes, though I think it's revealing to see who and what the staff prioritized.

Obviously, I also forgot to add Dunham to my list. The fact that they went to him first is probably not insignificant.
