I believe you are confusing Foley with Cummings.

Foley was the only holdover from the P era during Diaco's first year but the following spring he wad dismissed, Cummings took over the OLine and Verducci was brought in.

Add to this is the fact that Foley was only returned to OL duties after P/GDL were canned.

Yes, I agree third year out we should be seeing far more progress in our offensive line play. Foley however is not the one to blame.

We DO miss Foley who coached and built all of HCRE's offensive lines... Those road-graders paving an easy path for the running backs.

Cummings has been singularly unimpressive in building a line. DeLeone wrecked it but Cummings has dome precious little to restore it. In fact the whole offensive side of the ball seems like it needs blowing up. Of course it won't happen because the Wacko only hires frat brothers.
