...after a slow-starting morning (but it is 3 hours earlier here than most of you). The Sacramento Bee doesn't pay much attention to WCBB unless one of the NorCal teams is playing a ranked team. But it does at least list the scores of the ranked teams' games and sometimes all the previous evening's games.
And, there it was...
Wofford 104, No. 4 South Carolina 57
WTF?
So, quick to the computer to see what happened. Nothing on the Boneyard, so over to the NCAA site where I discover SC thrashed Clemson. And, to put a period on the event, the discovery a compositor had a brain fart and transmogrified "Southern Wesleyan" to "South Carolina". Perhaps the list they worked from had the 2 scores on adjacent lines?
A little added excitement to the slow morning...
