They look at all available data instead of focusing on missing data. Baylor demonstrated that they were better than Maryland based on what we do know and you can't just dismiss that because of what you don't know. Finally, even the pollsters said Baylor was better. So what exactly did the committee use as criteria to put Baylor in our bracket versus Maryland? If it is all about strength of schedule, UConn should be an 8 seed, right?
