SEC: 6 Champs (3 schools). 22 Final Fours

BE still battling for number 1. B12 a distant last.

Oddly enough, Pitt's switch doesn't change either conferences' numbers. It's as if they never existed.

Guys. Calm down, we're all on the same side. Bill's point is the Big East did not exist until 1979. We should be comparing from then, not when UConn was in the Yankee conference. It's not even the number of championships but the different teams that have won, UConn,Georgetown,Syracuse,Villanova. None of those teams had a storied history before 1979. In the ACC, NC State,North Carolina,Duke and Maryland have won. Beofre 1979, Duke did not have much of a program but the other three were major programs. The Big East basically came from nowhere and in my mind is a much stronger conference than the ACC. My feeling is that Duke and NC are trembling now that Syracuse and Pitt are coming. They will no longer automatically dominate every year and will have to work to win their conference.

And I am old school. I make my family use rotary dial phones because I am old school and what the duck* is their hurry with all those buttons and what not.

I am really fast, too. But I rarely go very fast because I prefer to stand still and let people catch up so I can punch them in the face. Which I will do to all of you - just meet me at my golf club, the East Tampa Municipal Pitch n' Putt, this Sunday at 10 am.
