Purchasing online from the NCAA site worked out well on the pre-sale. I was able to get seating in the second row (floor level) in a corner of the court. If you try for tickets when they are open for purchase to the general public there is a map where you chose from available seats, so you can see where you will be.

Stu- I never called you back per your offer a while ago- but it would probably be wise for the four of us to purchase the seats of our choice now as long as we already have our hotels booked I assume- If Tenn and Ct make it which is a real possibility good seats may get a little tougher to get?

Great to hear the pre-sale has started. I put my name on the NCAA list back in May but haven't heard from them-how does this process work? I understand the regular sale starts early next week. Have flights and hotel-just need tix for my first FF-Go Huskies!!

I'm trying to get the same info- we are booking our first FF now also!

I think if Tenn. qualifies for the tournament that seats will become difficult to get that third parties will be getting premiums over face value (prices are high already on such sites now). Traditionally, good seats have become available at good pricing after two teams lose in the Semi-Final game. That is unlikely to be true if Tenn. makes the final. If Tenn. does lose or does not make the tournament then it should become possible to buy from fans not coming to the Final or just move into empty seats. Additionally, the UConn section sometimes is not filled and it has been possible to get into that section after the game has started and sit with that group. So, just having any ticket might get you a better seat.

I think you both should be prepared to hit the NCCA link for tickets at 10:58 and continually refresh the page until the site goes "live." All lower level seats I think will gone. There is a level between the lower and upper level that if you see seating available you should take them. You will have to decide about the third level, but the experience at a Final Four is wonderful experience for a fan.

If you signed up for notification from the NCAA they should contact you. I would monitor the official site to be sure (www.ncaa.com/womensfinalfour).

The only way to get the pre-sale is buy tickets this year and then the NCAA will probably notify you next year.

Another risky action is to wait until UConn officially qualifies and then see if a season ticket holder will order tickets only for you. Those would be very nice seats though. :)

It is good that you have your hotel reservations as it seems Nashville is popular and very pricey in the downtown area near Bridgestone Arena.

Good luck!

This would be my first FF... now that we have the chance for #9 in CPS backyard!!! I have to be there...! I will be getting some tix even if they're on the roof!

Tickets are available and have been since the 28th. Scroll down on the NCAA site underneath the facebook info and there is a link and a code.

Today, that link brings up a "restricted" message. One person on the NCAA facebook page thought that tickets to the public might go on sale on the 11/2 instead of 11/4. I would be a very unhappy camper if I was looking for tickets with the NCAA changing the announced process.

Careful where the links take you. This is NCAA pricing:

• Floor Seats - $800
• Courtside Seats - $400
• Lower Level - $200
• Club Level (Sections 204-221) - $200
• Club Level Endzone - $175
• Upper Level - $150

Not facebook; the ncaa page scroll down under the facebook stuff. I bought tickets about 30 minutes ago. Row EE in the corner. AAA IS on THE FLOOR. AA is just off the floor. Stub hub has 2 on the floor but it is $1800 for an $800 ticket.

I got 2 tickets in section 111, corner 4 rows off the court for 200$ each at Ncaa presale. Hotel is not cheap. Homewood hilton 400$ a night. .2 miles from Bridgestone arena. Very few horel rooms left in downtown area as of today. Opryland is a short trip away and has a bunch of hotels and probably public transit to downtown area. Could be a good plan B. Airport has rooms but is 10 miles from the action and half the price.

Thanks sTu

Well I am a couple a miles from Bridgestone, but I got a room for $108 (plus a zillion dollars in taxes ,etc. :)) a night using Hotwire. I think the Hotel runs a shuttle every 20 minutes to all the attractions including Bridgestone.

sTu, Geno-ista and others thanks…so it seems the NCAA tix start around $200 for all FF games and the other sites go up from there. I like the idea of getting a season ticket holder to buy tix if they aren't going….now I just need to find one:) I'd just love to get the ticketing part out of the way!!

Just remember that UConn will not be releasing tickets until the team makes the Final Four. From my dim memory season ticket holders can get four tickets. They are released in one full day with an hour or so devoted to the largest doners (most points accumulated) down to lowly folks like moi. If UConn does make the Final Four tickets should come available from folks that do no wish to go any longer. UConn itself only has tickets if the UConn qualifies. Or you can always go to Nashville and buy from the scalpers.

Tickets released to pre registered for Final Four. Get them while there hot. I can't believe they did that.

Strange that they are changing the rules midstream. I just used my password for the pre-sale and was allowed to purchase more tickets if I wished. Only tickets in the rafters were offered to me.

I applied for and was offered the job of mid court towel attendant (sweat mopper). Pay was low so I turned down the offer.

Got my tickets in the rafters. At least I know that I won't have to pay scalpers prices down the road.
