and we have two players on the Roster with Crystal Dangerfield and Megan Walker. Also the only HS girl on the team is Cristyn Williams, a top UConn recruit. The USA bracket has Mali, Italy and China in it. Head coach is Suzie McConnell-Serio from Pitt. So, Crystal and Megan may be fluent in Italian by the time the fall semester starts with all the time they will be spending there! I think they play their first exhibition today (Jul 17) against Spain.

Exhibitions against Italy and Latvia will be on the 18-19 (not sure which game is first among those 2)

Mali is a fairly large country in West Africa. They won the u18 championships for Africa last year. I'm sure the US should breeze through them.
