OT: FIBA Americup 2022 (3X3) tomorrow ( Nov 4th): USA vs Columbia

For those interested in 3X3 here is the USA team: Veronica Burton 5' 9"
Lexie Hull 6' 1" Nalyssa Smith 6'3" and Camille Zimmerman 6'1"
The tournament starts tomorrow, Friday November 4th with
the USA playing Columbia. The USA is ranked # 1 in the FIBA 3x3
ratings. See the FIBA web page for exact times and streaming.
FYI: in the FIBA U 18 World Ranking for women ( based on
participation points, NOT talent ): # 65 Milaylah Williams ,
Sahara Williams # 75, K.K. Arnold ( tied with Sahara on points )
but ranked # 76 , and Sarah Strong # 8. For some basis
as a reference: Juste Jocyte is # 5 and # 1 is Maria Banko ( Germany ).
So,... something to watch as we wait for the Kutztown game on Sunday!

It is held in Miami, Florida, so all the times are EST. The
USA vs Columbia game is at 2:30 this afternoon. ENJOY!

Canada wins GOLD over Brazil 18 -11 The Canadians beat
the USA in the Semi 17 -15. Michelle Plouffe, 30 yoa, for
Canada was the MVP. 6'3" and is considered the " Best in The
World" at this type of thing. The USA came in third by
beating Columbia in the third-place game 17 - 13.
The men's USA team did take home the GOLD.
FYI: The Fourth player on the USA women's team, Camille
Zimmerman 6'1", plays professionally in Sweden. Camille is
the all-time leading scorer for Columbia University as well
as the all-time leading rebounder. She majored in Economics
(Like ONO!). Our team was Lexie Hull, Nalyssa Smith, Veronica
Burton and Ms. Zimmerman
