Some minor differences with the article.
"They beat UConn, South Carolina (twice), UCLA, Maryland, and more." This one had me scratching my head.
"— doesn't matter — ‘and-1’ is not a successful season," Auriemma said earlier this month." Only if the AND one, happens to be the last game of the season. I don't recall anyone complaining about NC years that also had losses. (Although anything is possible.) UConn lost four games in 2004, and again in 2013, and there were no complaints. Nobody said those were not successful seasons. So Geno is exaggerating a little with this statement.
Otherwise, good article.
