February was a tough month for ranked teams

This season February was filled with land mines for top teams. More talent is being spread around to "lesser" programs and unlike past years, Top 25 teams that don't bring it every night could get beat by unranked opponents. This is ultimately good for the game.

Delaware won at the buzzer, 40-39, on a shot by a former UConn recruit against a very mediocre Drexel team. Elena had missed a foul shot in the last minute that would have tied it, but she got one more shot and, after pump-faking, hit the game-winner over a triple-team.
