Even though I didn't watch and I don't know what I'm talking about, I take note of the absurd Spurs coach:

Paul & Vassell & Barnes: 66 minutes combined, 9 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists
S. Castle: 13 minutes, 12 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals

You think the Spurs made up his condition and Wemby went along with it?
I think the timing is too big of a coincidence to be ignored and they’re over exaggerating. Like I said, will be surprised if this is a big deal past this season. We’ll see.

It's not supposed to be a big deal if it's localized like they're saying but he needs to sit out for 6 months like other players who have had it. If he has a serious clotting condition his career is over.

How can you overexaggerate a blood clot and predict the timing of it?

Pistons have become a league pass watch because of Cade Cunningham, don't know what the hell Monty Williams was doing last year but it's night and day this season. All the talk about who is next to lead USA basketball was centered around Ant and Ja the past couple years and Cade has surpassed them imo. Ja has regressed and I prefer Cade's overall floor game and decision making over Ant and he can give you the points as well, he was always a point guard tho so that helps.

NBA injury reports should be taken with a pound of salt. Especially coming out of San Antonio with all the conflicting kawhi medical diagnoses when he was there. Will be surprised if this impacts him past this season
You are correct that if he is successfully treated he should be good to go next season. But he is done for this season

I still take Ant over Cade as he is just at another level and has played in big games in the playoffs and done well. He is such a great athlete and defender as shown by his block on SGA last night. He is also changing his game to shoot more 3's and better % to help deal with how teams are playing him on defense. Problem is the rest of the Wolves team sucks besides Naz Reid.

Still crazy that he went undrafted, guys get drafted off of potential every year, don't understand how teams missed on a guy with this size and skillset

Stephon’s %s are gonna take a hit tonight
Ended up not being an awful shooting night and he put up a nice 22-7-5-3 stat line.

I think Mitch got the call from up top that it’s time to let Steph get extended run.

Kept firing which is good. He had a couple 3s rim out on him too, funny they got it to 12, I flipped it with about 6min left..

Cade has been a favorite since his days at Oklahoma State. Haven’t seen a player in college better than him since that year (no not even Flagg).

Insane what he’s doing with the Pistons even after losing Ivey. I would take him over Ant too. He's capable of making all the plays and the best decisions. There’s no weaknesses in his game.

yea ultimately need to see Cade in a playoff setting to see how performs but I just prefer his overall processing and decision making over Ant.

Agreed. I’m looking forward to it. I wouldn’t want to see the Pistons in the first round if I was any of the top teams.

This is the right call, but what a disaster of a season for the 76ers. At least they could salvage a chance at keeping their own pick since it’s top-6 protected. It’s a shame Embiid can’t stay on the floor. He was having such an incredible season last year.

The Lonzo Ball procedure is probably on the table for him, we won't be seeing Embiid anytime soon, if at all, again
