A look at FBS attendance for the 2022 season compared to year-over-year and five-year-over-year averages.

We finished 88th in attendance with an average of 22,095 fans.

BYU (27th) was the highest ranked non-P5 team.

Of the teams that will be G5 next year, we ranked 19th out of 62.

Top 20 G5 (not including UCF, Cincy, Houston, or BYU- all departing for Big 12 next year).

I hope they do away with the attendance requirement so we actually get some real numbers going forward. For example those Stanford and Cal numbers are so grossly inflated that this is almost pointless.

Also that Navy number is vastly overstated since they played a "home game" against Notre Dame in Baltimore.
