Expect Knappe to be tried out as a Tackle. Also Boland is likely to either be O-line or D- line.

Hopefully Diaco and crew can uncover a graduate transfer or JUCO to come in and compete at Tackle right away.

He is a senior as he never redshirted.

He was listed as a RS Soph last year. Per UConnhuskies.com:

I recall earlier that Diaco said he had room for more but might be satisifed with fewer this year and getting extra next year. My guess is because of the late start. I expect they'll end up with 17-18. Usually there is a last minute guy where you say "Huh?" Taylor was the guy last year who nobody seemed to have a clue on. Honestly I think we don't really need to replace Marchi unless we have a real steal. It is almost like we have too many quarterbacks all in the same class. We can go a year without one or with a guy who might be a career backup this year then look for a stud next time.
