Martin shot very well before his late slump last year.  Jackson only needs to get to the low 30s in 3 pt. percentage to be very effective given everything he can do.  I don't care who is a "proven" shooter, they will either do it in games or not.  I have every expectation that Akok and Martin can get to 35% from 3.  Maybe even Whaley on low volume. They will or won't and that will impact minutes, as will defense, rebounding, 2 point scoring and other phases of the game.
