Fairfield Women had a quietly successful season in HC Joe Frager's last year. 25-6 overall, 19-1 in MAAC.
Frager played baseball at UConn. I think Class of '84. He announced his retirement before the season began.
Coached Maria Conlan at Seymour HS. Maybe Maria would move up & across town?

I watched the game and was pulling for Fairfield although I knew nothing about the coaches UConn history.
