With that said, even if UConn can find another Big in the portal who can contribute next season, SC will be a prohibitive favorite to win back-to-back championships. While I know it’s sacrilegious to suggest, I contend that UConn is better served by developing their existing team for a title run in 2023-24, than adding another Big from the portal who is unlikely to deliver one next season.
