Not only did Hawaii have a shorter path but it also meant that CT faced the ace of Texas AND the ace of HI. Ridiculous. And HI who has been really strong in recent LLWS tourneys getting a bye? I have to think it was on the up and up but by having byes it puts some doubt into if it was truly random. And lastly NY beat CT earlier but then CT beat NY in the winner to Williamsport game. That was NY’s only loss. With only four teams in the Metro bracket I don’t know why they couldn’t have played it as a true double elimination tourney. [/QUOTE]
