Facebook Confirms New Logo

Just saw UConns official Facebook page posted and confirmed that the logo that leaked today is indeed our new Jonathan. Personally, I like it, but was hoping for something more exciting. Maybe just need to get used to it after the logo we've had for a while now.

Does a Siberian Husky look much different from a wolf? IMO, this representation is much closer to Jonathan than previous logos. Most people are hatin' on the "black" but I think it's just a necessary outcome of today's bold logos.

I like it more every time I see it. I'm wondering if maybe this is some sort of hoax or feeler they are putting out there. They had a big event planned for Thursday the 18th. Maybe this is just to throw everyone off? If not, it works for me. By the start of next season, we will all be used to it and ready. They could put a smiling puppy as our logo, as long as we win national championships, I could care less.

It's cool. The prior one looked like those fluffy white dogs (Samoyed or something). This at least resembles a husky a bit more (which does have a lot of similarities to a wolf)

The funny thing, tho, is that JC is probably the lest wussy coach we could ever get. A bit of a dichotomy there, eh?!!

To think that everyone wanted to get rid of the red. IMO, it's incorporated much better than the red in the tongue of the old husky.

Ya, that's the official one and there is some merch where it isn't there (I'm assuming for costs/ease of printing)

Supposedly it will be outlined in red when its got UCONN under it, not outlined when its alone

Hearing a lot of people here and on social media comparing it to the Minnesota Timberwolves or Northeastern's logo. Let's see what their logos look like now:

Theyre both Huskies. There is really only so much you can do. That being said, a side view, stylized Husky doesn't look anything like our logo in my opinion.
