Experiencing a DYNASTY!

From '95 to the present, 18+ years, 8 national championships, never more than 5 years between a national championship, never more than 4 years from a final 4, two record consecutive win streaks, a current streak of 6 consecutive final fours, multiple AAs and POYs and on and on, including stocking this summer's USA teams with 5 players, all of whom we're starters covering positions 1 through 5 and that 5 is not our upcoming season's starting 5 in one and possibly two positions!

That's a DYNASTY.

Maybe the experience of dynasty doesn't make life easier, maybe it contributes relatively little to life, liberty and the.., but it is worth noting and calling attention to.

Classes start shortly, so it's a good time to say:

Welcome back to the team; and, THANK YOU!

Well, thanks. That is just about as good a curse as a Sports Illustrated cover! Just kidding (salt thrown over shoulder). It is true that UConn is Ascendant and has future prospects that are very positive. Kara Lawson accurately noted that UConn dominated the final 4. The last time someone associated with UConn used the Dominance Card we had to wait a while before that meant a Nat'l Championship. Trivia Question: Who said it and when?

If we get one 5star recruit - if she is a 4/5 we will have a great chance to keep it going beyond the KML/Stewie years. . If we get a 5-star sf - still a chance. We'll need 4/5's but can get away with lesser talent.

BACK TO SCHOOL DAY, 8/26! It can be assumed team is present, accounted for and busily exchanging stories of summer conquests of one kind or another...in basketball, of course :-0

Meanwhile, UCONN website boasts that Sierra Club ranks UCONN as "#1 coolest school."

I wonder if that is to be read literay, as in coolest climate in the country, (probably not as cold as, say, SUNY Plattsburgh or whatever college is in Duluth, but close), considering the ranking source?
