As soon as Nova went to the zone, we couldn't score at all. All our opponents will have watched that piece of video.

How the hell did we beat Syracuse?

I don’t expect it because we are a decent 3 point shooting team and lack an inside presence. Furthermore our guards are turnover machines facing man to man. Maybe later on in the season as teams face fatigue issues.

.-.
If that’s the case I see at least a couple games of poor ball movement and many bad 3s

unlike the Cuse soft 2-3, i expect teams to extend it and with man to man principles.

You would think Polley would be the best option to stick in the middle of the zone. A big guy who is a legit outside threat.

Can't pass well enough. Probably the best option, but not a great one.

If Cobb actually plays, I put him there. Passing is on point. Most important aspect of that position imo.

Agree. Hopefully whatever is going on ends before league play starts

Until our inside game gets better against stronger competition, we will continue to have these problems. Teams don't worry about our bigs so man to man, zone and doubling down on Jalen is going to be the game plan.

We have struggled against a zone defense for about the last 8 years

Thank you, Billy "The Governor" Raftery.

We haven't had shooters in the last 5 or so, which has been the main culprit since then.

Rafferty is my hero. Lol

Mine too. We native Garden Staters must stick together to defend ourselves against scurrilous and unwarranted attacks from the uninformed and misinformed. Vast parts of NJ are still bucolic and picturesque, but all anybody notices is what they can see from the NJ Tpke. All you haters can stuff it. It's us against the world.
