I really think we have a chance to be special next year. Backcourt play is what wins in college basketball and I think we will have the best backcourt in the nation. We will have a senior leading us and I expect Boat and Omar to make a big leap, DeAndre is going to be a matchup nightmare at the 4 and my hunch is that Facey will be starting very soon, I've seen enough from him in his high school games to think he will help a lot with his rebounding and shotblocking, he's also pretty good on offense but with what we already have his scoring won't be needed too much. Giffey is a perfect glue guy 6th man that will do whatever the coaches ask him depending on the matchup. I'm also excited about Nolan's development, he seems to have very nice upside and is a hard worker. The only concern going is rebounding but I feel that this will be greatly improved and if we do it by committee we shouldn't have any problems. The final and most important thing this team has is chemistry, they were dealt a crappy hand this past year and they are better for it, it's only brought them closer together and given them more resolve to accomplish something special. The national media is clearly going to be undervaluing us but I don't understand how many posters on this board seem to be doing the same. No reason to temper expectations, this group has a chance to contend next year.

Send this to Jeff Goodman and Gary Parrish of CBSSports.com and see what they think. :)
