Some insight from Paisley in an interview I won't bore you with. She revealed that she was 1 of 10 rookies in camp. By rookies I think she meant new to Seattle. She said also that because of Lyod, Bird and Stewie they were cutting the roster to 11, so essentially she had to beat out a veteran and 9 other "rookies". That is Evina's hurdle too.

My last little thought on a topic with no AM interest: Mercedes Russell suffered a nonbasketball injury on April 11 and Seattle is understandably quiet about it. This may give 6'5" Cunane an edge in making the roster.

For contract purposes, the WNBA categorizes players as “rookies”if they have not signed a WNBA contract previously.
