So, in 2004 both men's and women's teams won NCAAT. Ten years later 2014, they did it again. Next year is 10 years later again............
I won a thousand dollars off of that series. A pit boss at one of the casiono's that has since closed and been torn down was a HUGE Yankees fan. He was bragging that it was over, Yankees in 4, I joked that Boston was going to win it in 7. He looked at me an stated I'll give you a 100-1 odds on that happening, I said $10.00 just to see if he meant it. He accepted and in the end paid me outside of the pit the day after Boston won. One of the best bets I've ever made. I'm praying that the 10 year cycle works again, it would drive the rest of the basketball world crazy and stick it to ESPN on the so called demise of UConn. The Yankees won the 25th, 50th and 75th World Series, and were well on their way to winning the 100th, with a 3-games-to-0 lead in the ALCS in 2004, when a funny thing happened to them in Boston. Beware of counting chickens before they're hatched.
No Bambino no curse to undo . For Red Sox fans worked out just fine. The Yankees won the 25th, 50th and 75th World Series, and were well on their way to winning the 100th, with a 3-games-to-0 lead in the ALCS in 2004, when a funny thing happened to them in Boston.
