who told me I was crazy after the Western Michigan loss two years ago (not last year) can go duck yourselves. Pepperoni has run this program into the ground but hey , at least the Connecticut High School coaches love him.

Defense was a disgrace, except for Obi

Offense was a joke.

Go ahead and take shots at me and tell me that I'm just trying to pat myself on the back for calling this two years ago. Maybe I am , maybe I'm not...not quite sure

But this was a ducking disgrace and PP needs to be fired tomorrow. Tomorrow.

Sorry Jimmy. Just got home and didn't see the game thread. But this was a ducking waste of money and effort and emotion. Ten years at the Rent for me...missed one game in all that time and this was the worst....nothing else is even close

You could've been wrong. You ended up being right. But it was still premature at the time.

What I didn't understand were the folks advocating for him to return for his 3rd year. Should've been fired in December.
 
Few people ever like PP, particularly since he can't seem to utter coherent thoughts in English . But most of us wanted him to succeed to promote UCONN football in these trying CR times. The time for a 'benefit of doubt' has now long since passed and he and his doppleganger GDL should be shown the nearest door.

Tomorrow. Seriously. What has he done to here in his 2+ years that keeps him in his job? Seriously? I get it. My old friend Randy Edsall left us in a lurch. I get it. But the last two years and one game have been nothing but utter incompetency. Losses to Temple, Wester Michgigan (x2) and now Pete Townsend in a blowout ? WTF is that?

I don't care how good the FCS team is you're playing - you don't get THAT decisively beaten by them. And in your own building no less. You just don't.
 
P is the walking embodiment of just how terrible an AD Jeff Hathaway was. He had to make one fuc king big hire at UConn. ONE. And this is what he came up with. If he had to hire a men's bball coach he probably goes and hires Matt Doherty. Where the ck is Mark Whipple when you need him. I REALLY wanted P to succeed, but he simply sucks donkey balls.

Oh no, while rock bottom is becoming quite large out the windshield, we aren't there yet. 0-12 is still on the table.

Rock bottom comes after back to back 40+ point losses to Maryland and Michigan. I know you guys think this is bad but it's nothing compared to how you're going to feel three weeks from tomorrow,
 
Did Hathaway know he was going to be canned when he hired PP? I wonder if his hiring was a final "gift" to the University?
 
For whatever reason, calling him Pepperoni made me laugh way more than it should've.
