Sure, why not? Another small catholic BB school into the BE couldn't be bad, could it?

I thought the MAAC was all Catholic universities, but in conference realignment guess there are no prerequisites anymore.

i think your trying to be sarcastic but u dont know wht i'm talking about. the bball schools will split and go to a big bball league. they will try to keep the BE name also. with uconn gone they will have no ct team between sju and prov. may be the answer.

They're going to replace UConn. Same market. ;)

Good for Quinnipiac. They've spent a lot of money upgrading facilities to convince people that they are for real. Hopefully they get in. Their main goal would probably be something like the CAA or something (dream scenario for them), which isn't all that bad, since that conference has had more different teams go to the Final Four in the last 10 years than has the Pac12.

Their ultimate goal is the A10. It was mentioned when Tom Moore took that job.

I think you move up any chance you get if you're looking to grow your athletics, which Quinnipiac has done.
I do believe that QU's goal is the colonial or A-10... They have a very active AD and President and both want to grow the athletics.

I still think they should build a gondola between the dormitory/athletic campus on York Hill and the main campus by Sleeping Giant State Park. It's probably only about a half mile straight down hill through the woods and across Whitney Avenue. That would give them a really impressive campus.
