Scud, I spent my freshman year there before transferring up to Hft. It was called Indiana State Teachers College at the time. Actually visited Jimmy Stewart's father's hardware store. He had several photos of Jimmy there.

Years ago I read that after Jimmy Stewart won his Oscar, he mailed it home via the USPS and his father put it in the window of his hardware store. It stayed in the window for years.

Indiana is in a very rural area - in the middle of nowhere. Actually about 60 miles east of downtown Pittsburgh. The town of Indiana is the biggest one for miles - largely due to the influence of IUP (Indiana University of PA), which has over 10,000 students (incl some in grad school).

Their HS generally plays very weak competition, except for WPIAL and State tournaments at the end of the year.
