For those of you who are basketball starved in this interim between the NCAA and WNBA seasons, a reminder that we are in the final stages of Euroleague play.

In today's first semi-final, Dynamo Kursk (Stewie/Natasha Howard/Anna Cruz/Sonja Petrovic) defeated USK Praha (Alyssa Thomas)

Stewart finished with 32 pts (10-18 FG, 4-8 3FG), 5 reb, 2 ast, 3 stl, 2 blk. Natasha Howard had 22 pts, 10 reb, 5 blk

I watched some chunks of the game. Sopron got off to a hot start behind great 3 point shooting from Yvonne Turner and Zahui. The Final Four was in Sopron as well so they got a lift from the home crowd.

Alba Torrens kept Ekaterinburg in it when they were rocking a little bit and once UMMC stopped that initial Sopron surge the result was inevitable.

Kursk v. Ekaterinburg in the final should be one hell of a game.
