From the 4 to 9 minute mark of the 2nd half our team was very loose and sloppy, with no particular defensive pressure from Notre Dame and ND clawed back to within 5 or 6. Gives Geno something to talk about. It was so uncharacteristic I doubt much will or should be made of it. Start a game like that though and ....

I didn't think the team was loose and sloppy at all. I thought that ND cut the lead because they made baskets. After Braker's jump shot cut it to 6 Auriemma called a time out and I think that busted ND's run. After that it was all UConn.

The thing to remember that when the lead is small (10-12 points) all it takes is a couple of made baskets to cut it in half. LLoyd made two baskets (5 points) and Braker scored all in a matter of a minute or so. UConn went scoreless for 3-4 minutes leading up to that.
