So they introduce Bruce Pearl and he refers to Greenberg as "coach". But he's not a coach anymore. He was fired as was Pearl. Technically, they're in between coaching gigs. (possibly). Maybe it's just that I don't like either one of them. Now they sit there and critique coaches who STILL have jobs. Whatever. Rant over.... :D

I guess i could see your point but since they are analysts now, its their job to critique...its nothing personal. Steve Lavin is another one that comes to mind as a coach who was fired then spent a lot of time as an analyst at ESPN.

Seth Greenberg has always spoken very highly of Calhoun, and I've heard him praise KO on more than one occasion.

People carry their last title regardless of their present situation. It's why people call John Rowland "Gov" when he is actually a convicted felon with a mindless talk radio show. It's too fussy to say all of that each time you address him, but I urge his radio phone callers to try.

Once coach, always a coach. My dad was a high school coach and 55 year old men who played for him still call him nothing but coach. ALL coaches refer to each other as coach. It's a respect thing. Plus, you don't have to remember anyone's name which is nice

Speaking of John Rowland, I wonder what WTIC's policy of hiring convicted felons is?
