ESPN gives Gameball to Whitmer!! WTH?

So over on ESPN.com Wolverine beat writer Chantel Jennings, Instant Analysis: writes,

"Gameball goes to: Whitmer. Coming into the matchup with the Wolverines, Whitmer had thrown only three touchdown passes all season. Against Michigan, the 6-foot-1 signal-caller threw for 159 yards and two touchdowns with just one interception while picking apart the Michigan defense. "

Really? Whitmer was not the best player on the field by a long shot! If anyone deserved a Game Ball it was the UCONN D. enough said. Jennings must have only watched the first half highlights.
