Maybe I missed this on the board, but ESPN has changed their watchESPN website and app. Virtually everything which had been ESPN3 is now bundled under ESPN+ for $4.99 a month.

So, for sure the UConn games which had been on SNY and ESPN3 will fall under this new policy and still subject to blackouts.

I know it's not terribly expensive, but just another way to squeeze more money from fans... :(

Really surprised the ESPN3 lasted this long without additional charges because there is a lot of additional content offered by ESPN3 besides UCONN WCBB.
At $4.99 a month they are not even close to a point where I would say no & miss out on UCONN WCBB. But don't tell them I said that.

Trust ESPN to take the "sport" out of sports. Certain sports indeed are ESPN+, although some are still free as long as you have a provider. For some of us that's 25 bucks when UConn wins a championship.

I wonder how that affects getting your ESPN3 through Roku, etc... ?

I see some, but definitely not all, listed on ESPN+. Still a bunch on E3.

I have Roku and the ESPN app. The app has the new breakdown of categories including what is left of ESPN3 and ESPN+.
