Mich St must be getting love solely off of Izzo, I don't understand how they're ranked so high in so many preseason polls, not alot of talent there imo.

FWIW I read something the other day that they only have 4 players on their team this year who were ranked top 100 coming out of high school. That was the lowest number during the Izzo era. Yes, rankings aren't everything but that is interesting that Izzo isn't recruiting that well. And don't tell me he isn't recruiting almost all top 100 kids as his first choices.

Yea he's had a nice bounce back with the 2015 class so far but 2014 and 2013 were very subpar. I'm scrolling through the CBS top 25 and Gottlieb has them preseason #12(!). A team featuring Triche, Valentine, and Dawson as your likely 3 best players would have to have all of them guys make major leaps in their development and have some other guys be surprises to be top a 15 team during the year.
