I have no idea what the big east can do. How can it attend a meeting and make any agreements with anyone? I don't think the big east as a football entity exists right now. We are independents with a schedule playing for a title, but that's where it ends.

I don't think this merger option was ever seriously considered by the BE. As bad as things are it still wouldn't make any sense when you can still poach all of their best teams. Which the BE still can do.
