In fact, it appears that we have a streak of 13 straight years getting to at least the Elite Eight, beginning in the 2005-2006 season. Indeed, in the past quarter century, Connecticut has only failed to get at least to the Elite Eight twice: 1998-1999, and that very trying year after Diana Taurasi left: 2004-2005.
