In 2007 the Sun traded beloved vet Taj MacWilliams-Franklin to LA for a very young Erika and a draft pick that turned out to be Kamisha Hairston. Erika was really coming along well as I remember when the expansion draft sent her to the Dream just one year later.

Sad to say, but de Souza has been on the downswing for a while now. When she was with Chicago, she barely ever jumped. All the spring appeared to be gone from her legs.

That said, she never gave less than 100%. It's hard to not root for someone who plays with as much passion as she does.
