What a cruel disease. He was awesome on Euphoria. Sadly, they're both gone now.

It is such a terrible disease. My best friend has ALS and he was given less than a year to live.

Is it getting more common? Other than Lou Gehrig and Stephen Hawking, I had not even heard of anyone with ALS into the 90’s.

I can think of 4 people in my business or social network who have had it in the last 10 years.

Some theories it starts with Lyme bacteria. Gehrig had a summer home in Lyme, CT. One of the conspiracy theories.
