Enfield High's Mary Baskerville

I know that she has been mentioned previously in other threads. If any of you want to see her play the undefeated Enfield High and #2 ranked team in Class M is playing their SF game at Berlin High School on Friday at 7:45. They host #11 Notre Dame of Fairfield. I photograph #4 ranked Holy Cross who play #1 ranked and also undefeated Cromwell in the other Class M SF game their. That game starts at 6:00. I will place pictures on my website SportsPageMagazine.com over the weekend. If your time allows go and watch the games.

Hi Blake, I have photographed all of the basketball games for many years now. I would assume that they will once again this year. I know that the volleyball finals were shown. Should be another fun year of high school hoops. Lot of upsets already in high school girls basketball. There are plenty of undefeated teams still in play as well. I watched many of Notre-Dame's game this year. They too have a sophomore that is fun to watch. Her name is Gabby Joseph. She is so solid around the basket and she plays hard. She can be foul prone at times but if she stays on the court this should be a great match-up. Wish

Daddy, Berlin has a nice gym and layout. The CIAC held their girls volleyball championships at Berlin this past fall. Plenty of parking and plenty of seat space. There will be two good games taking place.

Im sure I've been there ... but its been a while since we had any great girls basketball. 2002-2008 was some great years locally

Williams play later this week...I wonder if any UConn coaches will be courtside at Berlin High
on Friday. If sighted, please let us know. Remember that Christyn was here on her own dime
earlier this year....a hopeful sign. I think that Moriah actually came here twice on unofficial visits.

Baskerville was in foul trouble most of the second half and eventually fouled out with 13 points including a 3-8 mark from the free throw line.

This young lady has a lot of potential. She needs to get into a weight room and build up upper body strength. That will help a bunch. Footwork is there but it has to improve. It would have been a different game if not for the fouls. She only played half of the third period and then I left. Shot both games and had a bunch to do this weekend. Give credit to ND-Flfd. They were nailing shots from beyond the arc when they needed them. #23 for Enfield had an awesome game.

Blake, I liked watching her play. She was taking jump shots and was not afraid to drive to the basket. I think that she could hang with the lower tier D1 schools.
