Don't think they quit but they aren't jelling and that has to be frustrating as hell.

And I think I counted 8 frowns, too. Oh no!

not quiting - I think they are confused, scared and no one is prepared to step up

.-.
Don't be critical because some on this board will slice your throat. You lose to Houston and the season is over unless they win the tourney.

Even when we lost earlier in the year we always brought it on defense, this is some of the worst defense I've ever seen from a UConn team. This is an embarrassment.

I am turning this off. They don't give a rats ass with this effort why should I?

Embarrassment is the perfect word John. This team right now is an embarrassment to the uniform.

Don't be too hard on them. Playing in front of a high school crowd on a Sunday afternoon sucks no matter where you are. Doing it in Houston is just pathetic.

Other teams manage to win at Houston. Why can't we?

Absolute BS excuse. Some of you should be embarrassed to continue to fall back on it. And even if that is true it still reflects terribly on our coaches and players.

Baah, go another cell phone.

They're playing hard but are a. still young, b. not a cohesive unit and 3. just not a good shooting team. If we don't shoot lights out we're gonna have a tough go every game, regardless of opponent.

After this season, what recruit is going to want to come here? This season could set us back quite a bit.

Playing in the AAC most certainly is not attractive to the big time recruits and anyone that thinks otherwise is in Wally World. This administration better start looking at solutions and ideas on how to become affiliated with a top tier conference or else..................................................

Don't you have a marathon to run?

is that what they said about KU when they lost in the NIT after NCAA champ?

It's not an excuse. It's just the sad situation we are in.

The difference is that UK (not KU, by the way) has had no trouble getting the studs they need. We were already on shaky ground, got no boost from the championship, and are sinking into irrelevance both this season and conference-wise.
