The year did not end the way many of us wanted... but some things to look at.
Kia Nurse ended her career with 1674 points putting her #18 on the all time scoring list at the moment. She ended up 4 points behind Shea Ralph. She also had 442 total assist, and finishes #7 at UCONN with 262 three pointers.
Gabby Williams ended her career with 1,582 points, currently ranked #22 1 point behind Swin Cash. Now that is something impressive. She has 1007 Rebounds putting her #7 all time.
Katie Lou Samuelson ended this season and will start her senior season Ranked #15 in Scoring with 1712 points. Steph Dolson is ahead of her with 1797.... Lou also has 293 Three pointers putting her at #4th in UCONN history. She will need 105 to tie KML. Is it possible???? That is a good question. I hope so. Also something to note. KML and DT are ranked #1 and 2 right now, both are also from California. Will be interesting to see our top three three point shooters be from California.
Napheesa Collier ended this season and will start her senior season Ranked #20 with 1609 points. She has 808 rebounds and is expected to reach the 1000 rebound plateau next season.
Both Collier and Samuelson could end up being the #4 and 5 scorers at UCONN... I think Lou 4, Collier 5....
In one season Azura scored 543. She easily can make the 1000 point club by the end of next year. She has 275 rebounds and can easily claim 500 rebounds before she is done. She had 76 blocks. If she can get 87 blocks next season she can be in the top 10 blocks for UCONN in just two seasons!
