No sacks, 160 yards rushing and 3 rushing TD's.

Got the push when they needed it near goal line.

Still looked over matched but better than line did most of last five seasons.
 
The OL was helped tremendously last night, I thought, by the decisiveness of the quarterbacks in getting rid of the ball quickly before the Holy Cross defensive linemen and linebackers could reach them. Kudos to David and Bryant. In last year's plodding offense, the quarterbacks were sitting ducks waiting to be creamed.
 
Grimes can only do so much with this group. An O-line comparable the ones we had during RE's previous tenure could be 3 years and a whole lot of recruiting away.

it speaks volumes that we have a true soph and a RsFr starting on our O-Line
 
Pass blocking was ok I guess, but they were definitely helped by the ball getting out quickly as others said above. The run blocking was a different story, which is interesting considering what Diaco's philosophy has been the past 3 years...
