It is hard to image a better representive for UConn than Emeka. The guy is all class. Has Hollywood good looks. Is elegant and eloquent. Majored in finance. Central casting family. World class athlete that still looks like he could play.

Congrats on recent honor. But the real honor was watching him play and bring a ring home to Storrs.

He was the definition of a championship student athlete.

Damn we’ve had some amazing players and people come through this program.

He really was, hell, still is a great representative for UConn. I hope he calls a few more basketball games on TV. Just like his freshmen year, he is raw calling games, but with time he will get better.

No offense to Jameer Nelson, who won the NPOY award, but Emeka Okafor was clearly the best player in the country in 2003-2004. Just like Marcus Camby, and some other great players, Okafor had to be game planned for on both ends of the court. He had a solid NBA career, too.
